Doctors Recall Carlo Acutis’ Serene Final Days in Hospital

Carlo Acutis, a 15-year-old who died from leukemia, was remembered by his doctors and hospital chaplain for his composure during his final days. Father Sandro Villa anointed him with the sick and gave him Communion before he fell into a coma. Carlo’s devotion to the Eucharist was evident throughout his life, as he built websites about miracles and went to daily Mass frequently. He is now a saint, canonized by Pope Leo XIV in 2025.
