Synodal Process Emphasizes Relationship Building in European Churches
Prof. Dr. Klara-Antonia Csiszar, organizer of the ‘Shaping Synodality in Europe’ conference, highlighted that synodal processes are about relationship-building at all levels of church governance. The conference, attended by 187 participants from 31 countries, focused on concrete steps for implementing synodality, including evaluating discussions and a questionnaire to identify themes and obstacles. Csiszar emphasized the importance of understanding diverse European experiences and suggested establishing an international forum to address current societal challenges.
